How does this work?
After uploading your NZB, the NZB file will be placed in the download queue.
As soon as a slot comes free, your NZB file will be processed, and the files will start to download to the Zlurpee.com server. (online upload video demo)
When your NZB file has been processed, you will get an email message saying that your files are ready for downloading!

How do I get (or create) a NZB file?
There are various ways to get your NZB file:
- A poster can create one while posting and posts them in a small dedicated Usenet newsgroup or provide it in another way. For example by uploading it to a special website like nzb.on-drugz.net.
- With a search engine like Binaries.nl or Yabse.com you can search a limited number of Usenet newsgroups and created your own NZB files.
- With one of the popular ‘create your own NZB’ sites:
(online create a NZB file video demo)
- NZB4U.
- NewzBin.
- UsenetJunkie.
- Other alternatives are the Usenet Search Engines like the ones built into NewsLeecher, GrabIt or Usenet Explorer

How long do the files stay on the Zlurpee.com server?
At the moment your files will stay 5 days on the Zlurpee.com server. After this they will get auto deleted.
Whats this retention time people are talking about?
Files on Usenet newsgroups are not stored permanently, but are removed after a certain period of time. The length of this period differs per server, and is called retention time. Zlurpee.com makes use of servers that have a retention time of about 70 days.
Can I download files from other Zlurpee.com users who uploaded a NZB, and are processed (ready for downloading)?
Yes you can as long as (1) you have the download link, and (2) the files are not older than 5 days.
Can NON Zlurpee.com users download files when I give them my download links?
Yes they can as long as (1) they have the download link, and (2) the files are not older than 5 days.
Please note that
used bandwidth will be counted to your account!
When I download files from other users, will this count for my download limit?
Yes it will!
Can I use a download manager to download the processed NZB files?
Yes you can.
How much or how long can I download?
You can download 1.0 GB max. Your account is valid for 30 days.
I sometime see this message "still decoding" or I do not see all my files when looking at status.
This is caused when your file is still being processed by the server. When the file is done processing, it will be moved to your virtual directory.
If you try again sometime later, you will see the "missing" file(s).
I never get the "Your files are completed" email!
Have a look in your "Bulk" or "Spam" folder! If you still do not see them, try using an other email address. |
